Venetian Red is an ocher, which have been used as pigments since prehistoric times. It is perhaps the most widely used pigment for artists’ paints. Suitable for most mediums it can be used to make artists oil paints, watercolour paints, Acrylics and chalk pastels. Venetian Red is lime and UV stable, so great for tinting lime washes, plasters and mortars.
